The newest entrant to the underground electronica scene takes a rather diverse approach on their self-titled debut. A concept album based on the book of Revelation, Cyberhalo does remarkably well in bringing across the message via instrumental music. Vocal samples of sermons and scripture readings add to the effectiveness of the theme. Musically, these guys combine electro and techno with everything from tribal and world beat sounds to swing to ambient bliss. A nice addition to the genre!
